The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gustaf Hökqvist took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Morgan Valrot. Morgan Valrot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torsten Vallander in the 10th minute of play forced Järbo's goalkeeper Sebastian Hellkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Traryd booed when Järbo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Magnus Åkesson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Morgan Valrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sonny Johnsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Sonny Johnsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erik Öman might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastian Hellkvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erik Öman ran back to his position shaking his head. With an all-out effort, Järbo's Morgan Valrot threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sonny Johnsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaf Hökqvist got free with Morgan Valrot in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th minute Sonny Johnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Morgan Valrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sonny Johnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Gösta Martinsson made the kick off in the second half. Morgan Valrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sonny Johnsson in the 54th minute of the match. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Traryd's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jimmie Andreasson was slow to take the kick. During this time Järbo's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Järbo's Jimmie Andreasson to fire away a dangerous shot which Morgan Valrot despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Traryd's Morgan Valrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaf Hökqvist in the 57th minute of play. Morgan Valrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sonny Johnsson in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sonny Johnsson in the 61st minute of play forced Traryd's goalkeeper Morgan Valrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th match minute, Traryd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gösta Martinsson to maneuver through the defense. If Gustaf Hökqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gösta Martinsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Hellkvist having to interfere. When Gösta Martinsson came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Traryd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gösta Martinsson couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sonny Johnsson in the 76th minute of play forced Traryd's goalkeeper Morgan Valrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaf Hökqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Morgan Valrot having to interfere. Järbo's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
