Hallen FK's Douglas Söderström got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Douglas Söderström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Douglas Söderström couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute, Manfred Albohm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ingvar Bruhn was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Sven-Edvin Bålström kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Jonathan Gudmundsson made the kick off in the second half. Manfred Albohm scored 4-0 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ingvar Bruhn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Douglas Söderström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute, Hallen FK's Allan Spets ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tomas Hansson. Tomas Hansson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. When Vårgårda BK's Jonathan Gudmundsson in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hallen FK's goalie prevented a goal. 61 minutes into the game, Per-Erik Galle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hallen FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vårgårda BK the free kick. In the 61st match minute, Hallen FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Erik Galle to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rdth minute of the game Jonathan Gudmundsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hallen FK's Ingvar Bruhn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ingvar Bruhn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Lundin, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After a rather tough play, Hallen FK's Edmund Skoog got a free kick in the 71st minute.
