Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Linus Bergström started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Pelle Wahlström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Gudmundsson in the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute Jonathan Gudmundsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pelle Wahlström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Jonathan Gudmundsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pelle Wahlström. Bandithagen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonathan Gudmundsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 15th minute, Richard Lindsten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute Vårgårda BK were awarded a corner. Andréas Möller went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to Vårgårda BK getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Jörgen Utfal hit a great ball. Hugo Larsfält, 30 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 36 played minutes Vårgårda BK got a freekick which was hit by Allan Törnqvist. Tomas Hansson made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Sonny Hermansson sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Vårgårda BK's Mark Lundin got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Leonard Åkesson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Tomas Hansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Jonathan Gudmundsson made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Vårgårda BK's Vidar Sundberg got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Vårgårda BK's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Larsfält came free, but Tomas Hansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Hansson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Linus Bergström went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Gudmundsson in the 60th minute of play forced Bandithagen's goalkeeper Pelle Wahlström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Linus Bergström came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Bandithagen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Linus Bergström couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Pelle Wahlström successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Pelle Wahlström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manfred Albohm in the 76th minute. Manfred Albohm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pelle Wahlström having to interfere. In the 84th minute Linus Bergström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Hansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Vårgårda BK booed when Bandithagen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roy Spets didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Bandithagen fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Vårgårda BK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
