Folke Björkdahl came out and tried to block the shot, but Karl-Åke Byström slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. Solsidans BK's Folke Björkdahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Åke Byström in the 8th minute of play. In the 12thth minute of the game Karl-Åke Byström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Solsidans BK's Folke Björkdahl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 16 played minutes, Ilsbo's Edward Wennerquist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Folke Björkdahl came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ilsbo reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Niklas Friberger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Solsidans BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Niklas Friberger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conny Palmquist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lukas Ståhlman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Kjell Kling fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Solsidans BK's protests and gave Kjell Kling a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th minute of the match Per Pihlgren shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Folke Björkdahl showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Jonatan Björk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ilsbo's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonatan Björk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Folke Björkdahl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lukas Ståhlman in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Conny Palmquist saved Ilsbo from getting behind. In the 36th of the match, Karl-Åke Byström tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Folke Björkdahl got in the way and made a wonderful save. After a defensive mix-up in Solsidans BK's zone, Jonatan Björk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Folke Björkdahl came out of the goal and Jonatan Björk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hubert Kruuse hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hubert Kruuse during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karl-Åke Byström to strike the kick off in the second half. Conny Palmquist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niklas Friberger in the 56th minute. Niklas Friberger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conny Palmquist having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Solsidans BK's zone, Jonatan Björk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Folke Björkdahl came out of the goal and Jonatan Björk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 67 minutes, Jonatan Björk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ilsbo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonatan Björk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Solsidans BK's Lukas Ståhlman got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Lukas Ståhlman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Conny Palmquist was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Folke Björkdahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatan Björk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl-Åke Byström scored 2-1 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Folke Björkdahl, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Torsten Ahlroht kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Jonatan Björk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folke Björkdahl having to interfere.
