With 22 minutes on the clock, Jörgen Hellström commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of Åhus:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Trolleträsk IF:s goal. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th minute, Robert Jönsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ingvar Finsberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Wassenius in the 59th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Åke Axelsson got free with Ingmar Wallander in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roger Wassenius hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. With his leg Ingmar Wallander managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Trolleträsk IF's Robert Jönsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Trolleträsk IF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
