Patric Hägert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Sonny Kilström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute of the match Ture Löfkvist shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sonny Kilström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sonny Kilström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Björn Ekberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonatan Moberg kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. If Per Söderberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sonny Kilström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joacim Hedin in the 23rd minute of play. Patrik Mattsson hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the game, Patrik Mattsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rångedala IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sydkoster the free kick. In the 25th match minute, Rångedala IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrik Mattsson to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Palm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Patrik Lindgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Palm, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Per Söderberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrik Lindgren having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Björn Ekberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Per Söderberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Per Söderberg struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Patrik Lindgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rångedala IK. Per Söderberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patrik Lindgren having to make a save. After 59 played minutes Sydkoster got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Pålsson. The Rångedala IK fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Rångedala IK's Göran Dahlquist looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Patric Hägert received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sonny Kilström came out and tried to block the shot, but Patric Hägert slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenny Bergfelt in the 77th minute of play forced Sydkoster's goalkeeper Patrik Lindgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kenny Bergfelt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rångedala IK's Sonny Kilström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Björn Ekberg in the 82nd minute of play.
