The audience was convinced that Dag Billing's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edvard Nykvist was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Ture Hegg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lennart Apelquist ran back to his position shaking his head. Lennart Apelquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ture Hegg having to interfere. Edvard Nykvist made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Dag Billing sent off a good shot on target. In the 65thth minute of the game Bertil Enström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Klässbol's Edvard Nykvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Olof Löfskog in the 71st minute of play forced Hyppeln's goalkeeper Ture Hegg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Klässbol's goalkeeper Edvard Nykvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 76th minute, Hyppeln's Bertil Enström ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edvard Nykvist. Edvard Nykvist yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Dag Billing in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Edvard Nykvist, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 82 minutes into the match, Hyppeln's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart Apelquist came free, but Ture Hegg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edvard Nykvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertil Enström in the 94th minute of the match. Hyppeln's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
