Wictor Rosendahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Knut Biörk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Axel Apelkvist was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Adam Granström hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After 20 played minutes FC Rishög got a freekick which was hit by Adam Granström. After having played for 21 minutes, Knut Biörk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vatreni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Knut Biörk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joakim Glanselius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Göran Fernkvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bo-Erik Lekberg went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Knut Biörk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in FC Rishög's zone, Knut Biörk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Axel Apelkvist came out of the goal and Knut Biörk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wictor Rosendahl struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Axel Apelkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vatreni. Knut Biörk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Knut Biörk's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 41stth minute, Axel Apelkvist skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 46th minute, FC Rishög's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Knut Biörk fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.

The wind increased when Bo-Erik Lekberg made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Knut Biörk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 54th minute Wictor Rosendahl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axel Apelkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Wictor Rosendahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Axel Apelkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wictor Rosendahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Rishög's Axel Apelkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Knut Biörk in the 63rd minute of play. After having played for 68 minutes, Knut Biörk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vatreni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Knut Biörk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81st minute Knut Biörk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axel Apelkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 89 minutes, Olof Snell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vatreni and the FC Rishög players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Vatreni's Olof Snell got a free kick in the 89th minute. Göran Fernkvist was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Peter Ferm. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Vatreni lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
