The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aleksander Söderqvist during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Granö BK's Aleksander Söderqvist got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 13th match minute, Granö BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Sikström to maneuver through the defense. Malte Backlund missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 15 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Peter Håkansson right hand side. After 16 minutes, Niklas Björkdahl mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Granö BK and the Turkovic Draycott EFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Granö BK getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Niklas Björkdahl hit a great ball. After 18 played minutes Granö BK got a freekick which was hit by Alvin Lundin. After having played for 19 minutes, Christian Pettersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Turkovic Draycott EFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Pettersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Turkovic Draycott EFC's Jim Klemensson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Peter Håkansson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Turkovic Draycott EFC's zone, Olof Fransson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rasmus Ekberg came out of the goal and Olof Fransson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Turkovic Draycott EFC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Jim Klemensson hit a great ball. Michel Melander hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Charles Eliasson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 33rd minute. Granö BK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Christian Pettersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olof Fransson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Rasmus Ekberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olof Fransson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rasmus Ekberg having to interfere. Charles Eliasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Turkovic Draycott EFC's Rasmus Ekberg got control of the ball when Olof Fransson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Olof Fransson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rasmus Ekberg having to interfere. Peter Håkansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Lindqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Rasmus Ekberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olof Fransson in the 52nd minute of the match. Christian Pettersson might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Peter Håkansson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christian Pettersson ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Christian Pettersson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Turkovic Draycott EFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Pettersson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peter Håkansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rasmus Ekberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Eliasson in the 65th minute of the match. Rasmus Ekberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Charles Eliasson's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Granö BK's Olof Fransson managed to work through Turkovic Draycott EFC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Olof Fransson dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. When Karl-Michael Gustavsson fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Turkovic Draycott EFC's protests and gave Karl-Michael Gustavsson a yellow card for diving instead. After 82 played minutes Turkovic Draycott EFC got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Michael Gustavsson. In the 87th minute, Sven-Erik Koch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Turkovic Draycott EFC's goalkeeper Rasmus Ekberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, Christian Pettersson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Charles Eliasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind Turkovic Draycott EFC's goalkeeper Rasmus Ekberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
