Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Täby's Vilhelm Brenner started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Sture Tomasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pelle Berg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sture Tomasson's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. When %teams%'s Karl-Johan Pihlberg was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-0 just inside the left pole, 11 minutes into the game. Pelle Berg was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. In the 14th minute Sture Tomasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pelle Berg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. John Lindström kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Vilhelm Brenner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Henrik Gernberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, one of We Are Leeds:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for We Are Leeds. Henrik Gernberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vilhelm Brenner went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Henrik Gernberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilhelm Brenner, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. If Vilhelm Brenner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, We Are Leeds's Sture Tomasson got a free kick in the 45th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karl-Johan Pihlberg to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christer Lundin during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 51 played minutes We Are Leeds got a freekick which was hit by Christer Lundin. Johan Söderström shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 61st minute, Torbjörn Lindström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bror Lennartsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vilhelm Brenner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Täby defense, Karl-Johan Pihlberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pelle Berg. The Täby fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pelle Berg should have stopped the shot. 95 minutes into the game, George Östman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Täby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave We Are Leeds the free kick. After some careless play in the Täby defense, Karl-Johan Pihlberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pelle Berg. The Täby fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pelle Berg should have stopped the shot. We Are Leeds's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
