Björn Nordström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Olov Ivarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Överturingen FF getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Valentin Markusson hit a great ball. The long shot by Tord Lindblom in the 9th minute really tested Olov Ivarsson's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 11 minutes, Olov Ivarsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 12th minute, Örby IS's Björn Nordström ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Olov Ivarsson. Olov Ivarsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Överturingen FF's Olov Ivarsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Överturingen FF from getting a goal against them. Magnus Bäcklin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Georg Delin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the game, Lucas Adelsköld was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Örby IS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Överturingen FF the free kick. A collision led to Örby IS getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Åke Åberg hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute of the match Hugo Moberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Georg Delin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 34th minute of the match Tord Lindblom shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olov Ivarsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jan Bocklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Olov Ivarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Överturingen FF's Joar Holmstedt got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joar Holmstedt made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Åke Åberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After 63 minutes of play, Örby IS's Björn Nordström made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olov Ivarsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joar Holmstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kåre Bryngelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Överturingen FF defense, Björn Nordström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olov Ivarsson. The Överturingen FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olov Ivarsson should have stopped the shot. Jan Bocklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Olov Ivarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Överturingen FF's Joar Holmstedt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Georg Delin. That made the score 3-1 after 84 minutes of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Örby IS fans cheered their team off the field, for while Överturingen FF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
