Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Peder Strömberg started the match with the kick off. Magnus Bäcklin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Överturingen FF's zone, Henry Kvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olov Ivarsson came out of the goal and Henry Kvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Överturingen FF's Peter Uggstedt threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Valentin Markusson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Magnus Bäcklin came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Överturingen FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Magnus Bäcklin couldn't finish the play. Eskil Gustafsson hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After 17 minutes, Osvald Berggren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vansbro FF and the Överturingen FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 17 played minutes Vansbro FF got a freekick which was hit by Osvald Berggren. When Magnus Bäcklin came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Överturingen FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Magnus Bäcklin couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Vansbro FF defense, Joar Holmstedt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Peter Uggstedt. The Vansbro FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Peter Uggstedt should have stopped the shot. If Magnus Bäcklin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes in the game, Joar Holmstedt fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Peter Uggstedt having to interfere. If Peder Strömberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Överturingen FF's goal looked a bit too open when Peder Strömberg came free, but Olov Ivarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henry Kvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Olov Ivarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Vansbro FF getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Eskil Gustafsson hit a great ball. Magnus Bäcklin struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Peter Uggstedt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Överturingen FF. 46 minutes into the match, Överturingen FF's Magnus Bäcklin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Peter Uggstedt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Magnus Bäcklin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Magnus Bäcklin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vansbro FF's Henry Kvist got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Henry Kvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Magnus Bäcklin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henry Kvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olov Ivarsson having to interfere. Vansbro FF's Peter Uggstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joar Holmstedt in the 75th minute of play. After 76 played minutes Vansbro FF got a freekick which was hit by Eskil Gustafsson. Peter Uggstedt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Magnus Bäcklin's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Peter Uggstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magnus Bäcklin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Peder Strömberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Olov Ivarsson. That made the score 1-2 in the 87 minute of play. Joar Holmstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Uggstedt having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Vansbro FF eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
