Örby IS's Tord Lindblom couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 12th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mölnbo. Georg Delin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vilhelm Lind in the 18th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Vilhelm Lind dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Georg Delin, 1-0. In the 27thth minute of the game Björn Nordström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mölnbo's Ted Svanberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vilhelm Lind received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Georg Delin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Boris Hultin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vilhelm Lind charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vilhelm Lind the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Fredrik Österlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Björn Nordström struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Ted Svanberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Örby IS. Fredrik Österlund might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Georg Delin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fredrik Österlund ran back to his position shaking his head. When Per-Arne Hägg fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Örby IS's protests and gave Per-Arne Hägg a yellow card for diving instead. After 69 played minutes Örby IS got a freekick which was hit by Per-Arne Hägg. Georg Delin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredrik Österlund in the 73rd minute of the match. Vilhelm Lind received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Georg Delin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Björn Nordström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vilhelm Lind recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vilhelm Lind in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Georg Delin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. For all the effort they put into the match, the Örby IS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mölnbo.
