Martin Clementsson started the match with the kick off. If Joar Holmstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 9 minutes into the game, Mölnbo's Martin Clementsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olov Ivarsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 13th match minute, Överturingen FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kåre Bryngelsson to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Mölnbo's Anders Bergfelt tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 16th match minute, Överturingen FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olof Brenner to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute Anders Söderberg clashed with another player. He fell to the ground and was in great pain. It was obvious that he couldn't finish the game. In the 20th minute, Stellan Granberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fredrik Österlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 24th match minute, Överturingen FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Markusson to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes in the game, Fredrik Österlund fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Olov Ivarsson having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Magnus Bäcklin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ted Svanberg was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. If Magnus Bäcklin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute of the game, Magnus Bäcklin landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Tom Mellbad charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tom Mellbad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th minute, Tom Mellbad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Fredrik Österlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute Joar Holmstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ted Svanberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olov Ivarsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fredrik Österlund in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joar Holmstedt to strike the kick off in the second half. Olof Brenner kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Joar Holmstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Ted Svanberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 64 minutes, Kåre Bryngelsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Överturingen FF and the Mölnbo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 64 played minutes Överturingen FF got a freekick which was hit by Kåre Bryngelsson. 65 minutes into the match, Mölnbo's Anders Bergfelt broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Anders Bergfelt kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Mölnbo's Kennet Strömbom got a free kick in the 74th minute. Fredrik Österlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olov Ivarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Österlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sören Ståhlman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 88 minutes, Fredrik Österlund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mölnbo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fredrik Österlund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kennet Strömbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fredrik Österlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olov Ivarsson having to interfere.
