Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gunnar Lindsten started the match with the kick off. 9 minutes into the game, Jan-Olof Boberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blue Mountain State FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Madi Banja the free kick. After having played for 11 minutes, Gunnar Lindsten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Madi Banja's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gunnar Lindsten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edvin Lidström kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. When Madi Banja's Gunnar Lindsten in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Blue Mountain State FC's goalie prevented a goal. Kennet Valrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Olof Boberg in the 25th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jan-Olof Boberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kennet Valrot was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Gunnar Lindsten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gunnar Lindsten kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Gustaf Thorsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Gustav Svensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After 51 played minutes Blue Mountain State FC got a freekick which was hit by Pål Sundström. Madi Banja's Kennet Valrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Olof Boberg in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Per-Erik Fredriksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 63 minutes, Gunnar Lindsten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Madi Banja's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gunnar Lindsten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute Jan-Olof Boberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kennet Valrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Björn Stephansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Björn Stephansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Kennet Valrot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jan-Olof Boberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan-Olof Boberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute, Gunnar Lindsten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gunnar Lindsten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Madi Banja's Kennet Valrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Olof Boberg in the 83rd minute of play. Björn Stephansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kennet Valrot having to interfere. After having played for 95 minutes, Gustaf Thorsberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Madi Banja's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustaf Thorsberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Madi Banja's Gunnar Lindsten got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
