Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ralf Jelm kicked off to start the match. Sälen's Viktor Gustafsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Sälen from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, Viktor Gustafsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Viktor Gustafsson didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 7th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. If Greger Friberger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nils Åström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Åke Alberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nils Åström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Njurunda IK's Åke Alberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Bergqvist in the 25th minute of play. In the 30th minute Ralf Jelm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Gustafsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 31 in the game by Greger Friberger from a close distance when the talented Viktor Gustafsson managed to make a qualified save. Sälen's players were relieved. If Ralf Jelm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Viktor Gustafsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralf Jelm in the 39th minute of the match. Åke Alberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils Åström in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nils Åström to make the kick off. If Greger Friberger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, Sälen's Peter Bergqvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Åke Alberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 62nd match minute, Njurunda IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eskil Bremming to maneuver through the defense. Sälen's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 64th minute of the game, when Karl Österberg after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Njurunda IK's goal. Karl Österberg was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralf Jelm in the 70th minute of play forced Sälen's goalkeeper Viktor Gustafsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Greger Friberger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Gustafsson having to interfere. If Ralf Jelm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Greger Friberger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Njurunda IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Greger Friberger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Viktor Gustafsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nils Åström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the game, Olof Lundblad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sälen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Njurunda IK the free kick. When Nils Åström came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Sälen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nils Åström couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Njurunda IK fully deserved thier win.
