Harry Pil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 4th minute Felix Holmgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Rydberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 6 played minutes Slagnäs got a freekick which was hit by Rudolf Sigfridsson. In the 7th minute of the match Måns Skarkman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arne Rydberg skillfully saved the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Per Vacker successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Arne Rydberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harry Pil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Örsjö IK booed when Slagnäs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig Mellbad didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Pil in the 21st minute of play forced Slagnäs's goalkeeper Arne Rydberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Holmgren charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Holmgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 22 played minutes Örsjö IK got a freekick which was hit by Felix Holmgren. After a rather tough play, Örsjö IK's Emil Smed got a free kick in the 29th minute. Måns Skarkman struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Arne Rydberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Örsjö IK. Malte Billock hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After 39 minutes, Harry Pil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Örsjö IK and the Slagnäs players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th match minute, Örsjö IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Pil to maneuver through the defense. Arne Rydberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Holmgren in the 42nd minute of the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pontus Svensson couldn't finish the play. Slagnäs's Andréas Biörkquist got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pontus Svensson got free with Per Vacker in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felix Holmgren made a kick off. Pontus Svensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per Vacker having to interfere. When Andréas Biörkquist came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Slagnäs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andréas Biörkquist couldn't finish the play. Harry Pil succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 59th playminute. Andréas Biörkquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pontus Svensson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Per Vacker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Harry Pil made a precise shot to the right of Arne Rydberg. Slagnäs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Pontus Svensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Holmgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arne Rydberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Holmgren ran back to his position shaking his head. Andréas Biörkquist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Per Vacker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pontus Svensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. In the 96th match minute, Örsjö IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesper Kinnman to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see Slagnäs's Stig Mellbad in action when he in the 98th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Örsjö IK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
