The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Rickard Aronsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 6th minute Gösta Hjeltman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hjalmar Söderberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rickard Aronsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Uggstedt having to interfere. The supporters of Västerås SK booed when Torslanda BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Pettersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Torslanda BK's zone, Konrad Utter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Max Uggstedt came out of the goal and Konrad Utter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rickard Aronsson in the 16th minute of play forced Torslanda BK's goalkeeper Max Uggstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rickard Aronsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Uggstedt having to interfere. Konrad Utter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Max Uggstedt having to make a save. If Rickard Aronsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Konrad Utter took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Max Uggstedt. Max Uggstedt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Rickard Aronsson struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Max Uggstedt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Västerås SK. Konrad Utter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Uggstedt having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Torslanda BK's goal looked a bit too open when Rickard Aronsson came free, but Max Uggstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Björn Österlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Västerås SK were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Torslanda BK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lars Dahlberg took the corner. After 45 minutes, Martin Pettersson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Torslanda BK and the Västerås SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th minute, Martin Pettersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute, Lars Dahlberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rickard Aronsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Max Uggstedt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gösta Hjeltman was the one to do the kick off. Rickard Aronsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Max Uggstedt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. The audience cheered when Lars Dahlberg's long shot passed Max Uggstedt's right side. It was 0-2, 63 minutes into the match. Björn Myr's late challenge caught a Västerås SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Björn Myr helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Torslanda BK getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Björn Myr hit a great ball. In the 76th minute Martin Pettersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hjalmar Söderberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Peter Hedlund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Västerås SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Torslanda BK the free kick. After a rather tough play, Västerås SK's Peter Hedlund got a free kick in the 79th minute. Hjalmar Söderberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Pettersson in the 81st minute of the match. When Gösta Hjeltman came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Torslanda BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gösta Hjeltman couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute, Martin Pettersson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hjalmar Söderberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Rickard Aronsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Max Uggstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Konrad Utter kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Max Uggstedt. That made the score 1-3 in the 96 minute of play. The Västerås SK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
