Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Villiam Nyström kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Villiam Nyström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hjalmar Söderberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Konrad Utter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emil Fagerberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Hjalmar Söderberg made a huge save. In the 11th minute, Peter Hedlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Västerås SK's zone, Villiam Nyström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hjalmar Söderberg came out of the goal and Villiam Nyström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th match minute, Västerås SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hannes Täman to maneuver through the defense. Flarken's Åke Fågel got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Åke Fågel in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hjalmar Söderberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 23 minutes into the game, Konrad Utter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Västerås SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flarken the free kick. In the 23rd minute, Konrad Utter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Konrad Utter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kjell Isaksson hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Hjalmar Söderberg was a little too slow when Kjell Isaksson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 2-0. 44 minutes into the match, Flarken's Åke Fågel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hjalmar Söderberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Åke Fågel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Hjalmar Söderberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Västerås SK's Karl-Oskar Palmquist seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Karl-Oskar Palmquist the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Västerås SK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Karl-Oskar Palmquist had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 50th minute there was a penalty for Flarken. Walter Byström stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hjalmar Söderberg. 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Isac Bocklund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rickard Aronsson in the 59th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Villiam Nyström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flarken's supporters rose to their feet, but Villiam Nyström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hjalmar Söderberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Västerås SK's Hjalmar Söderberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Åke Fågel in the 62nd minute of play. Rickard Aronssons short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Isac Bocklund to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 68 minutes into the match, Åke Fågel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hjalmar Söderberg. Västerås SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Åke Fågel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Rickard Aronsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rickard Aronsson hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Åke Fågel might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hjalmar Söderberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Åke Fågel ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 82nd minute, Rickard Aronsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Västerås SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. A collision led to Västerås SK getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Peter Hedlund hit a great ball. Hjalmar Söderberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Åke Fågel in the 87th minute of play. Hjalmar Söderberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åke Fågel, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Åke Fågel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Hjalmar Söderberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Villiam Nyström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hjalmar Söderberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Villiam Nyström took the ball and in the 100 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hjalmar Söderberg. Hjalmar Söderberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2.
