A wasted opportunity for Älmeboda. When Göran Granström came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Feralkitties BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Göran Granström couldn't finish the play. In the 12th match minute, Älmeboda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reine Ekeberg to maneuver through the defense. Göran Granström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Egil Mårtensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lars-Erik Svanström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krister Malmström in the 28th minute of play. If Krister Malmström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Henrik Strömberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lars-Erik Svanström was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 37th minute Vilhelm Hurtig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egil Mårtensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute Krister Malmström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars-Erik Svanström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrik Strömberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Krister Malmström made a kick off. In the 51st minute of the game, Henrik Strömberg landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Niclas Vallengren charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niclas Vallengren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 51 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Feralkitties BK! Lars-Erik Svanström had in the 54thth minute some difficulties stopping Axel Nykvist's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 54 minutes into the game, Axel Nykvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Lars-Erik Svanström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Göran Granström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Egil Mårtensson made a huge save. Göran Granström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Axel Melin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egil Mårtensson having to interfere. Vilhelm Hurtig received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Egil Mårtensson came out and tried to block the shot, but Vilhelm Hurtig slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 81st minute. Maximilian Nyman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lars-Erik Svanström having to make a save. Axel Melin charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Axel Melin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Feralkitties BK's Axel Melin got a free kick in the 97th minute. Feralkitties BK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
