Randall Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sven Kalfhage recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 21 minutes, Linus Olsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mollösund and the Myggenäs IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Simon Lidberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven Kalfhage's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mollösund's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Randall Leal was slow to take the kick. During this time Myggenäs IK's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Sven Kalfhage got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Simon Lidberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Lennart Lindgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 29 played minutes Mollösund got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Benet. 34 minutes into the match, Mollösund's goal looked a bit too open when Sven Kalfhage came free, but Simon Lidberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven Kalfhage fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Lidberg having to interfere. Vilhelm Klint blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Simon Lidberg having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Kalfhage in the 45th minute of play forced Mollösund's goalkeeper Simon Lidberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Myggenäs IK booed when Mollösund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Säfström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Randall Leal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Myggenäs IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Randall Leal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Myggenäs IK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karl-Magnus Boklund was the one to do the kick off. Sven Kalfhage recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Johannes Åberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver Benet in the 62nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Sven Kalfhage managed to get in a good position for a shot. Myggenäs IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven Kalfhage was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simon Lidberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th match minute, Mollösund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tord Söderman to maneuver through the defense. When Sven Kalfhage came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Myggenäs IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven Kalfhage couldn't finish the play.
