Brian Ek hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Lennart Lindgren kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Johannes Åberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pontus Sjö in the 6th minute. After having played for 8 minutes, Sven Kalfhage managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Myggenäs IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven Kalfhage was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Johannes Åberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Billy Pihlgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If George Burman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Holmsund FK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! Sven Kalfhage fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Greger Bergstedt having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billy Pihlgren in the 27th minute of play forced Myggenäs IK's goalkeeper Johannes Åberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johannes Åberg didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 29th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Holmsund FK's goalkeeper Greger Bergstedt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. George Burman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Greger Bergstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sven Kalfhage sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Myggenäs IK's Johannes Åberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billy Pihlgren in the 45th minute of play.

Holmsund FK's Greger Bergstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Burman in the 56th minute of play. Sven Kalfhage might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Greger Bergstedt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven Kalfhage ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Holmsund FK's Jörgen Sundberg got a free kick in the 61st minute. The supporters of Myggenäs IK booed when Holmsund FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörgen Sundberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Sven Kalfhage put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Greger Bergstedt. When Andréas Pilberg fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Holmsund FK's protests and gave Andréas Pilberg a yellow card for diving instead. After 72 played minutes Holmsund FK got a freekick which was hit by Andréas Pilberg. If Sven Kalfhage had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jörgen Sundberg hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Sven Kalfhage could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Greger Bergstedt made a huge save. Sven Kalfhage fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Greger Bergstedt having to interfere. George Burman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A sloppy throw-in by Ola Pihlblad in the 84th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Myggenäs IK's Randall Leal. A collision led to Holmsund FK getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Andréas Pilberg hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute, Vilhelm Klint reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Greger Bergstedt. The goal made the score 1-4. Myggenäs IK played a much better game than Holmsund FK and deserved their victory. The Holmsund FK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
