Hans Söderström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludwig Holmgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. FC PKK's Hans Söderström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludwig Holmgren in the 11th minute of play. In the 14th minute Olov Wållander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Unesson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC PKK's Olov Wållander got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Storvik's Douglas Unesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fritz Benet in the 21st minute of play. In the 27th minute, Fritz Benet made a precise shot to the right of Douglas Unesson. Storvik's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Olov Wållander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Douglas Unesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC PKK's Olov Wållander got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ludwig Holmgren was the one to do the kick off. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Storvik. After a rather tough play, FC PKK's Kalle Bergdal got a free kick in the 57th minute. When Allan Böcklund came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Storvik fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Allan Böcklund couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Storvik's Ludwig Holmgren got a free kick in the 61st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Storvik's zone, Fritz Benet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Douglas Unesson came out of the goal and Fritz Benet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 66 minutes into the match, Storvik's goalkeeper Douglas Unesson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olov Wållander. 66 minutes into the game, Elof Spetz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Storvik's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC PKK the free kick. The supporters of FC PKK booed when Storvik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elof Spetz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fritz Benet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Douglas Unesson having to make a save. After 69 played minutes FC PKK got a freekick which was hit by Fritz Benet. If Fritz Benet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olov Wållander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Unesson having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Böcklund in the 82nd minute of play forced FC PKK's goalkeeper Hans Söderström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
