Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The audience thought a goal was coming when Marc Wennerberg got free with Hjalmar Sjögren in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 5th minute, Pelle Brovall fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Marc Wennerberg was extremely unlucky when he, in the 6th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 9 minutes, Håkan Siöberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Mighty Hatters and the Ellös FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marko Lind had in the 11thth minute some difficulties stopping Jens-Åke Hedling's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Jens-Åke Hedling had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marko Lind. The Mighty Hatters's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jens-Åke Hedling was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a rather tough play, The Mighty Hatters's Torbjörn Bremming got a free kick in the 15th minute. After having played for 17 minutes, Marc Wennerberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Mighty Hatters's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marc Wennerberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 19 minutes into the game, Bror Holmgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ellös FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Mighty Hatters the free kick. In the 19th minute, Bror Holmgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute of the match Joseph Melander shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hjalmar Sjögren showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 22 played minutes Ellös FK got a freekick which was hit by Pär Henriksson. 23 minutes into the match, The Mighty Hatters's Joseph Melander broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ellös FK's goalkeeper Hjalmar Sjögren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 31 minutes into the game, Ian Svanström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Mighty Hatters's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ellös FK the free kick. In the 31st match minute, The Mighty Hatters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian Svanström to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, Ellös FK's Jens-Åke Hedling broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. André Kullander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marko Lind read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Oliver Forssberg notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of The Mighty Hatters's Marko Lind. Marko Lind was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 42nd minute, André Kullander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. André Kullander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Oliver Forssberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
With an all-out effort, Ellös FK's Marko Lind threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from André Kullander, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Pelle Brovall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pelle Brovall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hjalmar Sjögren having to interfere. Oliver Forssberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marko Lind. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oliver Forssberg ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Marc Wennerberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Mighty Hatters's supporters rose to their feet, but Marc Wennerberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hjalmar Sjögren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kjell-Arne Smedfeldt kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Hjalmar Sjögren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marc Wennerberg's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. During the 78th minute of the match Bror Holmgren completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bror Holmgren a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 78th minute, Bror Holmgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute, Marc Wennerberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Mighty Hatters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. A collision led to Ellös FK getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Pär Henriksson hit a great ball. In the 88th minute Pelle Brovall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hjalmar Sjögren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hjalmar Sjögren came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by The Mighty Hatters's Pelle Brovall. But to his dismay, Pelle Brovall quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
