Jens-Ola Askestät's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Oskar Grep read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tun's Rikard Örtendal got a free kick in the 15th minute. The supporters of Bottnaryd BF booed when Tun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peder Moberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jens-Erik Caspersson shot from long distance in the 18th minute, but Karl-Oskar Grep was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. In the 22nd minute, Jens-Ola Askestät left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bottnaryd BF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Algot Gerdberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mats Bållström in the 26th minute of the match. Algot Gerdberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mats Bållström's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute Rikard Örtendal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Algot Gerdberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Ingvar Hegg fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Tun's Karl-Oskar Grep played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingvar Hegg in the 36th minute of play. Karl-Oskar Grep showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Hegg, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 42nd minute, Tun's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ingvar Hegg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Bottnaryd BF's zone, Mats Bållström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Algot Gerdberg came out of the goal and Mats Bållström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ingvar Hegg made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Ingvar Hegg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 57th match minute, Tun was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peder Moberg to maneuver through the defense. Carl Sörman kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Mats Bållström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tun's supporters rose to their feet, but Mats Bållström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Algot Gerdberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mats Bållström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Algot Gerdberg made a huge save. If Jens-Ola Askestät had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Algot Gerdberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rikard Örtendal, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Ingvar Hegg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Oskar Grep having to interfere. Bottnaryd BF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Tun for a fine match.
