Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Georg Wahlström made the kick off which started today's match. Nils-Erik Ekenberg's late challenge caught a Lakemountains FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nils-Erik Ekenberg helped the player get up and apologised. After 5 played minutes Birmingham City FC got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Erik Ekenberg. Lennart Kollberg scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dennis Dusett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lennart Kollberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 15 minutes, Jörgen Boberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Birmingham City FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jörgen Boberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lakemountains FC's Dennis Dusett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Lakemountains FC from getting a goal against them. In the 17th minute Alf Molander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig-Åke Wallander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Lakemountains FC's Freddie Unesson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stig-Åke Wallander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Lennart Kollberg hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the match, Birmingham City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arvid Bern came free, but Stig-Åke Wallander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Birmingham City FC's Jörgen Boberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. If Lennart Kollberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvald Åkesson charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Osvald Åkesson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alexander Nyberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Casper Kinell was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Birmingham City FC booed when Lakemountains FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sten Ugla didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lakemountains FC's zone, Lennart Kollberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dennis Dusett came out of the goal and Lennart Kollberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Casper Kinell in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dennis Dusett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 65 minutes into the match, Lakemountains FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart Kollberg came free, but Dennis Dusett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Lennart Kollberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Birmingham City FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lennart Kollberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dennis Dusett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Birmingham City FC's Casper Kinell in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lakemountains FC's goalie prevented a goal. Jörgen Boberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dennis Dusett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennart Kollberg in the 80th minute of play. Dennis Dusett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casper Kinell, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Stig-Åke Wallander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Freddie Unesson in the 92nd minute. Casper Kinell hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Lakemountains FC's Sten Ugla got a free kick in the 98th minute. Birmingham City FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Lakemountains FC for a fine match.
