Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Edward Lind made the kick off which started today's match. 6 minutes into the match, Åhus's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart Kollberg came free, but Tomas Bergman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Åhus's zone, Casper Kinell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Bergman came out of the goal and Casper Kinell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lennart Kollberg scored 0-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomas Bergman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Birmingham City FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Christopher Apelquist hit a great ball. Lennart Kollberg kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Lennart Kollberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Bergman having to interfere. Stig-Åke Wallander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvin Kjellberg in the 48th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When Melker Viklund fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Åhus's protests and gave Melker Viklund a yellow card for diving instead. In the 52nd minute, Melker Viklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute of the match Hjalmar Gulliksson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomas Bergman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lennart Kollberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Bergman having to interfere. With his leg Tomas Bergman managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Birmingham City FC's Casper Kinell fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tomas Bergman came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Birmingham City FC's Lennart Kollberg. But to his dismay, Lennart Kollberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A collision led to Birmingham City FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Christopher Apelquist hit a great ball. Stig-Åke Wallander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Lind, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Gabriel Bergqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Åhus fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. If Jörgen Boberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lennart Kollberg got free with Tomas Bergman in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 96 played minutes Åhus got a freekick which was hit by Kristoffer Hydén. With a little luck, Åhus's Tomas Bergman got control of the ball when Lennart Kollberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Birmingham City FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
