After a rather tough play, Ockelbo RK's Dennis Östensson got a free kick in the 29th minute. Anders Svensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingvar Hellström having to interfere. Håkan Edström's late challenge caught a Arsenal FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Håkan Edström helped the player get up and apologised. After 32 played minutes Ockelbo RK got a freekick which was hit by Håkan Edström. Anders Svensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingvar Hellström having to interfere. Simon Vallengren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ingvar Hellström having to make a save. Leo Hedkvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan Harman in the 40th minute. In the 45th minute, Arsenal FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fredric Heggert fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fredric Heggert to make the kick off. When Jan Harman came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Ockelbo RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan Harman couldn't finish the play. After 61 played minutes, Ockelbo RK's Per Kling shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leo Hedkvist came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ockelbo RK reached it. Johannes Granström charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Johannes Granström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jan Harman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Hedkvist having to interfere. Anders Svensson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Ingvar Hellström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 86 minutes into the game, Jan Harman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ockelbo RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arsenal FC the free kick. In the 86th match minute, Ockelbo RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Harman to maneuver through the defense. If Fredric Heggert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Stig Mager got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ockelbo RK were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
