Alvin Rudkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingemar Odin in the 27th minute of the match. Alvin Rudkvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Markus Brask in the 28th minute. When Gottfrid Berglund fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kangos IK's protests and gave Gottfrid Berglund a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Kangos IK's Gottfrid Berglund got a free kick in the 34th minute. Kangos IK's Gottfrid Berglund got his second yellow card of the match in the 37th minute. The referee ordered Gottfrid Berglund off the ground. In the 39th minute, Svante Smefeldt sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kangos IK's Sigvard Mager didn't even have to move. 42 minutes into the match, Kangos IK's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Gallberg came free, but Sigvard Mager reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in United stand FC's zone, Markus Brask stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvin Rudkvist came out of the goal and Markus Brask tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Sigvard Mager made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Bergsten in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute Markus Brask shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvin Rudkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Markus Brask sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kangos IK's Sigvard Mager played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Gallberg in the 63rd minute of play. When Allan Söderberg came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the United stand FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Allan Söderberg couldn't finish the play. Ingemar Odin kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After having played for 77 minutes, Niklas Berggren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. United stand FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niklas Berggren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Tomas Gallberg came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the United stand FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Gallberg couldn't finish the play. 82 minutes into the game, Vilhelm Forss was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kangos IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave United stand FC the free kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. United stand FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
