Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Garpenberg:s Torbjörn Aronsson showed great skill when he stopped Håkan Lundström:s penalty. 7 minutes into the game, one of Surte:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 8th minute there was a penalty for Garpenberg. Evert Sjöberg stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Stefan Eriksson. 0-1. Garpenberg's Torbjörn Aronsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by August Apelkvist in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Roy Pedersson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Garpenberg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Surte the free kick. After a rather tough play, Garpenberg's Roy Pedersson got a free kick in the 12th minute. Torbjörn Aronsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from August Apelkvist in the 13th minute of play. Egon Bokelund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stefan Eriksson having to make a save. After having played for 16 minutes, Egon Bokelund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garpenberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Egon Bokelund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. August Apelkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Surte booed when Garpenberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Stenman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Håkan Lundström sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Garpenberg's Torbjörn Aronsson didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by August Apelkvist in the 27th minute of play forced Garpenberg's goalkeeper Torbjörn Aronsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. August Apelkvist got in the 28th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Torbjörn Aronsson handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. André Drewitz struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Stefan Eriksson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garpenberg. August Apelkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Surte's Stefan Eriksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egon Bokelund in the 56th minute of play. Claes Mellin hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. August Apelkvist struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Torbjörn Aronsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Surte. Torbjörn Aronsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from August Apelkvist in the 70th minute of play. Knut Rolfsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thomas Termander hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Torbjörn Aronsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Knut Rolfsson's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. After having played for 81 minutes, August Apelkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Surte's supporters crossed their fingers, but August Apelkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Knut Rolfsson in the 89th minute of play forced Garpenberg's goalkeeper Torbjörn Aronsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Garpenberg's zone, Knut Rolfsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torbjörn Aronsson came out of the goal and Knut Rolfsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. August Apelkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute August Apelkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torbjörn Aronsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Drewitz got free with Stefan Eriksson in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
