Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gustav Collin started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Skärplinge's goal looked a bit too open when Birger Kruuse came free, but Eddie Berg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Birger Kruuse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddie Berg having to interfere. If Per-Olof Månsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vännäs's Nils-Emil Lenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Einar Brander in the 15th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Vännäs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joacim Odman to maneuver through the defense. Skärplinge's Einar Brander got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nils-Emil Lenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Einar Brander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25thth minute of the game Gustav Collin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vännäs's Nils-Emil Lenberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Per-Olof Månsson took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Eddie Berg to make any attempt to save it. Gustav Collin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils-Emil Lenberg having to interfere. Birger Kruuse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Kim Hård left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Skärplinge fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Birger Kruuse made a kick off. After 54 played minutes Vännäs got a freekick which was hit by Gustav Engström. The Vännäs fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Vännäs's Birger Kruuse looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Eddie Berg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Birger Kruuse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Vännäs booed when Skärplinge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristoffer Uggla didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Einar Brander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Skärplinge defense, Per-Olof Månsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eddie Berg. The Skärplinge fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eddie Berg should have stopped the shot. In the 75th match minute, Vännäs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmund Åkerström to maneuver through the defense. If Per-Olof Månsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Birger Kruuse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Kristoffer Forssell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Skärplinge's goal looked a bit too open when Birger Kruuse came free, but Eddie Berg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Per-Olof Månsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Per-Olof Månsson in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eddie Berg saved Skärplinge from getting behind. Vännäs were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Skärplinge for a fine match.
