Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Västers IF's Tommy Aleberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Isak Blom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rune Ryberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Västers IF getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Otto Askberg hit a great ball. Bengt-Åke Salqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommy Aleberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Isak Blom blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rune Ryberg having to make a save. Uddeholm's Aaron Bennet shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 18th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rune Ryberg but with some difficulty. 24 minutes into the match, Västers IF's goalkeeper Rune Ryberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kevin Brun. In the 32nd minute, Västers IF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Isak Blom fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Rune Ryberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kevin Brun went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Kevin Brun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isak Blom in the 41st minute of play forced Västers IF's goalkeeper Rune Ryberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rune Ryberg came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Uddeholm's Kevin Brun. But to his dismay, Kevin Brun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Västers IF's Rune Ryberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isak Blom in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isak Blom to make the kick off. Kevin Brun might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rune Ryberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 74th minute, Kevin Brun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uddeholm fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Kjell Hedman kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gottfrid Bratt during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 83 played minutes Västers IF got a freekick which was hit by Gottfrid Bratt. After having played for 88 minutes, Tommy Aleberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Västers IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tommy Aleberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Alfred Kilström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Västers IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfred Kilström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bengt-Åke Salqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Uddeholm had won after a very even match.
