Fredrik Utter lost his temper 7 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of Sösdala:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Flen:s goal. When the match had been going on for 9 minutes, Flen's Robin Möller got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Vilgot Löfskog. André Mattsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Vilgot Löfskog made a huge save. Vilgot Löfskog took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viktor Bengtsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Viktor Bengtsson came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Flen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Viktor Bengtsson couldn't finish the play. André Mattsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Vilgot Löfskog tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Viktor Bengtsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vilgot Löfskog didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 38th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The supporters of Sösdala booed when Flen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vincent Ånger didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Anders Stensson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Charles Kilström. That made the score 3-1 in the 53 minute of play. Vilgot Löfskog stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of André Mattsson's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Sösdala's Vilgot Löfskog played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Mattsson in the 59th minute of play. Viktor Bengtsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilgot Löfskog having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Bengtsson in the 66th minute of play forced Sösdala's goalkeeper Vilgot Löfskog to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th match minute, Sösdala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicklas Kleen to maneuver through the defense. Ralf Kuse hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Tobias Runberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Charles Kilström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Flen's Charles Kilström got control of the ball when Anders Stensson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Sösdala booed when Flen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vincent Ånger didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute, Anders Stensson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sösdala fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Tobias Runberg's late challenge caught a Flen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
