Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Kälarne IF's Kjell Jakobsson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Kälarne IF's zone, Jörgen Fernkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Folke Bern came out of the goal and Jörgen Fernkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Fredrik Caspersson fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Edenberga BK's protests and gave Fredrik Caspersson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Edenberga BK getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Fredrik Caspersson hit a great ball. Jan-Olof Adelsköld showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kjell Jakobsson in the 15th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Kjell Jakobsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Olof Adelsköld saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jörgen Biörkman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Jan-Olof Adelsköld tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kjell Jakobsson struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Jan-Olof Adelsköld didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kälarne IF. Jörgen Biörkman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jan-Olof Adelsköld having to make a save. Folke Bern came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Edenberga BK's Kurt Fribäck. But to his dismay, Kurt Fribäck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Jörgen Fernkvist made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Mats Jönsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Edenberga BK's Jan-Olof Adelsköld got control of the ball when Jörgen Biörkman tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Kälarne IF's Björn Östensson got a free kick in the 66th minute. Edenberga BK's Jan-Olof Adelsköld proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Edenberga BK from getting a goal against them. In the 72nd minute, Jörgen Biörkman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan-Olof Adelsköld was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Jörgen Biörkmans short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Jan-Olof Adelsköld to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Edenberga BK's Jan-Olof Adelsköld played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjell Jakobsson in the 84th minute of play. Jan-Olof Adelsköld was a little too slow when Kjell Jakobsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 2-3. The Edenberga BK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Kälarne IF's performance. The match ended with a win for Kälarne IF.
