The audience thought a goal was coming when Stig Springfält got free with Stellan Östensson in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Johannes Nordkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvin Pihl in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, IFK Feckan's Ingvar Hedbom got a free kick in the 8th minute. Alvin Pihl charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alvin Pihl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Gullabo FF booed when IFK Feckan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvin Pihl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ingvar Hedbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute, Alvin Pihl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Johannes Nordkvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. IFK Feckan's Ingvar Hedbom got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stig Springfält received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Stellan Östensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The IFK Feckan players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
