Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pål Västerstrand started the match with the kick off. When Jens Sundberg came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the AIK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jens Sundberg couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, AIK's Thor Britz got control of the ball when Sven Kling tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jens Sundberg scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Johannes Nordkvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jens Sundberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Johannes Nordkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute of the match Ted Lindberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Johannes Nordkvist skillfully saved the ball. Henry Abrahamsson charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henry Abrahamsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Henry Abrahamsson hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Johannes Nordkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens Sundberg in the 25th minute of play. Petter Tinglöf kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Henry Abrahamsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute Sven Kling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thor Britz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johannes Nordkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pål Västerstrand in the 34th minute of the match. If Jens Sundberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pål Västerstrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stig Springfält could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Thor Britz made a huge save. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sven Kling was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes, Gullabo FF's Mikael Dahlberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Thor Britz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gullabo FF reached it. Johannes Nordkvist came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by AIK's Pål Västerstrand. But to his dismay, Pål Västerstrand quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A collision led to Gullabo FF getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Petter Tinglöf hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven Kling in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thor Britz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Henry Abrahamsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thor Britz having to make a save. After a rather tough play, AIK's Mathias Hellström got a free kick in the 71st minute. 73 minutes into the game, Stig Springfält cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Thor Britz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Johannes Nordkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pål Västerstrand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thor Britz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven Kling's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. AIK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
