Jan-Ove Säv's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jens-Åke Nyman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kaj Lustig in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jens-Åke Nyman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Långängarna FC's Jan-Ove Säv in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Larnise FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 19th minute Jan-Ove Säv shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Åke Nyman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Sven Grelsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Larnise FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven Grelsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sigvard Sikström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sten Västlunds short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Sigvard Sikström to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 24 played minutes Långängarna FC got a freekick which was hit by August Back. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Larnise FC reached it. 26 minutes into the game, Långängarna FC's Kaj Lustig nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jens-Åke Nyman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After having played for 29 minutes, Kaj Lustig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Långängarna FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaj Lustig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Larnise FC's Jens-Åke Nyman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Ove Säv in the 31st minute of play. Jens-Åke Nyman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Ove Säv, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. If Kaj Lustig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Kaj Lustig came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Långängarna FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaj Lustig couldn't finish the play.

Sten Västlund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sigvard Sikström having to make a save. Sten Västlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Sigvard Sikström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan-Ove Säv scored 0-2 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jens-Åke Nyman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kennet Carlsson struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Jens-Åke Nyman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Långängarna FC. Kaj Lustig received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jens-Åke Nyman came out and tried to block the shot, but Kaj Lustig slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 75th minute. After a rather tough play, Larnise FC's Sven Grelsson got a free kick in the 79th minute. Jens-Åke Nyman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaj Lustig, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 84th match minute, Larnise FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronny Gallberg to maneuver through the defense.
