Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nils Lundqvist started the match with the kick off. Daniel Vesterberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Patrik Skoglund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stefan Sundberg during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Anderstorp IK booed when Bottnaryd IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Sundberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Bottnaryd IF's Patrik Skoglund got control of the ball when Daniel Vesterberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nils Lundqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brian Nordmark read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Brian Nordmark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sverker Sjöström, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Sverker Sjöström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Brian Nordmark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bottnaryd IF's Patrik Skoglund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andréas Björklund in the 48th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Anderstorp IK's Carl Hägglund got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Bottnaryd IF's Anton Giöck slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Brian Nordmark. That made the score 0-1 after 58 minutes of play. If Sverker Sjöström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Nils Lundqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Anton Giöck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bottnaryd IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Anton Giöck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brian Nordmark breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 78 played minutes Anderstorp IK got a freekick which was hit by Carl Hägglund. After a defensive mix-up in Anderstorp IK's zone, Sverker Sjöström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brian Nordmark came out of the goal and Sverker Sjöström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Bottnaryd IF's Brian Nordmark threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nils Lundqvist, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Daniel Vesterberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sverker Sjöström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Brian Nordmark made a huge save. Anderstorp IK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Nils Lundqvist scored to the left of an out of position Brian Nordmark, making the score, 0-2. Bottnaryd IF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
