If Sakarias Vallengren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ted Bäckströms short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Dick Bergström to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dick Bergström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ted Bäckström in the 8th minute. Sakarias Vallengren might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dick Bergström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sakarias Vallengren ran back to his position shaking his head. One of Franska Björnstammen:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Långviksmon:s goal. Ted Bäckström might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dick Bergström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ted Bäckström ran back to his position shaking his head. The Långviksmon manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Franska Björnstammen to win.
