Evert Bergdal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Petersson in the 22nd minute of the match. After 26 minutes, Harry Ekeroth made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ljungaverk IFK's Evert Bergdal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Evert Bergdal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Petersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ljungaverk IFK's zone, Harry Ekeroth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evert Bergdal came out of the goal and Harry Ekeroth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Harry Ekeroth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Richard Tidéksson during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Färlöv IFK! When Harry Ekeroth came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Färlöv IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harry Ekeroth couldn't finish the play. Harry Ekeroth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Harry Ekeroth was the one to do the kick off. Evert Bergdal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harry Ekeroth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evert Bergdal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michel Petersson in the 61st minute. A collision led to Ljungaverk IFK getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Eric Nordmark hit a great ball. Harry Ekeroth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Evert Bergdal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. 74 minutes in the game, Michel Petersson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Evert Bergdal having to interfere. Isac Nyman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Kent Stenquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Färlöv IFK's Michel Petersson got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd minute Harry Ekeroth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evert Bergdal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kent Stenquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isac Nyman in the 96th minute of the match. Färlöv IFK were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
