John Klint sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 6th minute, Samuel Västerstrand made a precise shot to the right of Oskar Holmberg. Tierp's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Tierp's Oskar Holmberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Västerstrand in the 9th minute of play. After 10 minutes, Johannes Månsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Why should I FC and the Tierp players grew even worse after the yellow card. Johannes Månsson hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edvin Backman got free with Morgan Stålberg in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hans Jansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, Why should I FC's John Klint sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oskar Holmberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Oskar Holmberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Västerstrand, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 25th minute, Why should I FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hans Jansson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 27th minute, Edvin Backman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hans Jansson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Morgan Stålberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Hans Jansson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 30th minute. In the 37th minute of the match Valter Gudmundsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Morgan Stålberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 39th minute, Hans Jansson fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hans Jansson to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56thth minute of the game Edvin Backman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Why should I FC's Morgan Stålberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edvin Backman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Morgan Stålberg having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Why should I FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Jansson came free, but Morgan Stålberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edvin Backman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Morgan Stålberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Morgan Stålberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Jansson in the 65th minute of the match. After 69 played minutes Why should I FC got a freekick which was hit by Jack Wennerberg. Tierp's Edvin Backman got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Morgan Stålberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edvin Backman's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Hans Jansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Morgan Stålberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hans Jansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Why should I FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Tierp had controlled the match.
