Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joel Hellström kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, King Midas Minotaurs's Per-Åke Dahlberg got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Jörgen Bodin kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th match minute, King Midas Minotaurs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jörgen Bodin to maneuver through the defense. Henrik Ennegren succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 13th playminute. Håkan Matsson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Karl Bergendahl. When Joel Hellström came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Jönköping fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Hellström couldn't finish the play. Håkan Matsson was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Henrik Ennegren capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Henrik Ennegren really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Rutger Hedvall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Mats Björk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Mats Björk managed to get in a good position for a shot. King Midas Minotaurs's supporters rose to their feet, but Mats Björk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolf Dahlgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Håkan Matsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henrik Ennegren's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henrik Ennegren got free with Håkan Matsson in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alvar Lundström to strike the kick off in the second half. Mats Björk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolf Dahlgren having to interfere. Alvar Lundström might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolf Dahlgren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvar Lundström ran back to his position shaking his head. After 54 played minutes Jönköping got a freekick which was hit by Göran Molin.
