The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With his leg Sonny Mattsson managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Busarnas BB's Ulf Bolin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulf Bolin got free with Sonny Mattsson in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ulf Bolins short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Sonny Mattsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gustav Sjögren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henry Westerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niklas Sjödin in the 27th minute of the match. Sonny Mattsson didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Busarnas BB's Ulf Bolin shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. A hard shot 38 in the game by Ulf Bolin from a close distance when the talented Sonny Mattsson managed to make a qualified save. Broaryd IFK's players were relieved. After 39 played minutes, Busarnas BB's Björn Asserlindh shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sonny Mattsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Busarnas BB reached it. Ulf Bolin struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Sonny Mattsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Busarnas BB. With a little luck, Broaryd IFK's Sonny Mattsson got control of the ball when Ulf Bolin tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ulf Bolin to make the kick off. Sonny Mattsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ulf Bolin's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. If Aron Brandt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Busarnas BB's Ulf Bolin in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Broaryd IFK's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Broaryd IFK getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Jimmy Paulin hit a great ball. After 63 played minutes Busarnas BB got a freekick which was hit by Wiktor Göransson. Josef Pettersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henry Westerberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Robert Ahlroth showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 72 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulf Bolin in the 77th minute of play forced Broaryd IFK's goalkeeper Sonny Mattsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 78 minutes, Aron Brandt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Busarnas BB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aron Brandt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sonny Mattsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulf Bolin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aron Brandt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Sonny Mattsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Busarnas BB's Ulf Bolin in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 89 minutes, Jimmy Paulin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Broaryd IFK and the Busarnas BB players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 90 played minutes Broaryd IFK got a freekick which was hit by Jimmy Paulin. After a defensive mix-up in Busarnas BB's zone, Robert Ahlroth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henry Westerberg came out of the goal and Robert Ahlroth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
