After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Ture Pihlwall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gustavslunds BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ture Pihlwall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eric Ståhlman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 4 minutes into the match, Hägersten IK's goal looked a bit too open when Sverker Sjöberg came free, but Eric Ståhlman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Gustavslunds BK's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Åke Ståhlman came free, but Bengt Hansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sverker Sjöberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ture Pihlwall in the 22nd minute of play forced Hägersten IK's goalkeeper Eric Ståhlman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Gustavslunds BK's Birger Mårtensson to fire away a dangerous shot which Eric Ståhlman despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 27th minute Ture Pihlwall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Ståhlman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eric Ståhlman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ture Pihlwall's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. After 37 minutes, Tage Stål mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hägersten IK and the Gustavslunds BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 37 played minutes Hägersten IK got a freekick which was hit by Tage Stål. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ture Pihlwall in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eric Ståhlman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eric Ståhlman came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Gustavslunds BK's Maximilian Pihlberg. But to his dismay, Maximilian Pihlberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sven-Åke Ståhlman made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Sverker Sjöberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eric Ståhlman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bengt Hansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göran Hedlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 64th minute, Edmund Björling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Birger Mårtensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Emanuel Wallgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ture Pihlwall got free with Eric Ståhlman in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 78 minutes of play Hägersten IK's Tage Stål was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Eric Ståhlman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ture Pihlwall showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 81 minute of play. Hägersten IK's Eric Ståhlman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Hägersten IK from getting a goal against them. Sverker Sjöberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Hägersten IK's zone, Birger Mårtensson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eric Ståhlman came out of the goal and Birger Mårtensson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 91 played minutes Hägersten IK got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Åke Ståhlman. Ture Pihlwall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Hägersten IK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gustavslunds BK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
