A collision led to Örviken BF getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Jack Hellkvist hit a great ball. Sven-Erik Kleen scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Jonasson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Engman to make the kick off. Tomas Engman struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Jens-Ove Soned didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Örviken BF. After having played for 58 minutes, Jesper Bengtsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Örviken BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jesper Bengtsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Vittinge RK's Folke Dahlkvist got a free kick in the 64th minute. Kent Wennerqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. David Jonasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tomas Engman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th match minute, Vittinge RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Måns Persson to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rdth minute of the game Jesper Bengtsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vittinge RK's Jens-Ove Soned was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Örviken BF's goalkeeper David Jonasson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kent Wennerqvist. Jesper Bengtsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Jens-Ove Soned tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Örviken BF's Jesper Bengtsson got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 83 played minutes Örviken BF got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Engman. In the 84th match minute, Örviken BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvin Classon to maneuver through the defense. Vittinge RK's Jens-Ove Soned played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesper Bengtsson in the 95th minute of play. Jens-Ove Soned showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Engman, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Vittinge RK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
