Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 10 minutes, Göran Fernkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mariefred BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Göran Fernkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Staffan Andreasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Algot Västerberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elliot Kjellman was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 25th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 27th minute, Dan Alén got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 30th minute, Ulrik Jakobsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Börge Hökqvist. The goal made the score 1-0. Dan Alén scored 2-0 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Börge Hökqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Staffan Andreasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göran Fernkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Dan Alén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the match, Mariefred BF's goal looked a bit too open when Ulrik Jakobsson came free, but Börge Hökqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dan Alén might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Börge Hökqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dan Alén ran back to his position shaking his head. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Algot Västerberg was the one to do the kick off. Dan Alén recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Staffan Andreasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Algot Västerberg in the 71st minute of the match. Algot Västerberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Övre Soppero FK defense, Göran Fernkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Staffan Andreasson. The Övre Soppero FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Staffan Andreasson should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulrik Jakobsson in the 96th minute of play forced Mariefred BF's goalkeeper Börge Hökqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
