Hjalmar Hernström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Vennerberg having to interfere. A collision led to Bandhagen IK getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Jimmy Magnusson hit a great ball. Olov Alkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bandhagen IK's zone, Hjalmar Hernström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mattias Vennerberg came out of the goal and Hjalmar Hernström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Bandhagen IK booed when Brännö IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torbjörn Lindberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Rikard Siöberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Charles Gallin was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. In the 17th minute, Olov Alkvist reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mattias Vennerberg. The goal made the score 1-0. When Olov Alkvist came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Brännö IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olov Alkvist couldn't finish the play. 25 minutes into the match, Bandhagen IK's goal looked a bit too open when Olov Alkvist came free, but Mattias Vennerberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charles Gallin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Bryngelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. When Samuel Kellberg fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bandhagen IK's protests and gave Samuel Kellberg a yellow card for diving instead. Samuel Kellberg hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the match, Marcus Bryngelsson notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Brännö IK's Charles Gallin. Charles Gallin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Charles Gallin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rikard Siöberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rikard Siöberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charles Gallin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Bryngelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olov Alkvist to make the kick off. Olov Alkvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mattias Vennerberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olov Alkvist ran back to his position shaking his head. Rikard Siöberg in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Charles Gallin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Bandhagen IK booed when Brännö IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Rosendahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brännö IK's Charles Gallin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Bryngelsson in the 65th minute of play. In the 68th minute Hjalmar Hernström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattias Vennerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Bandhagen IK getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Viggo Strömbom hit a great ball. Rikard Siöberg struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Charles Gallin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bandhagen IK. Mattias Vennerberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hjalmar Hernström's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. After 83 played minutes Brännö IK got a freekick which was hit by Torbjörn Lindberg. A collision led to Bandhagen IK getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Rikard Siöberg hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Brännö IK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bandhagen IK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
