With his leg Rudolf Palmkvist managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Brännö IK's Olov Alkvist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Robin Felin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olov Alkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Rudolf Palmkvist made a huge save. With his leg Rudolf Palmkvist managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Brännö IK's Olov Alkvist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ingemar Josefsson got his second yellow card in the match during the 28th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Ingemar Josefsson kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Våxtorp's Rudolf Palmkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Våxtorp from getting a goal against them. Olov Alkvist struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Rudolf Palmkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brännö IK. In the 36th minute Sakarias Bjurström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudolf Palmkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stig-Ove Dalman struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Rudolf Palmkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brännö IK. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olov Alkvist to strike the kick off in the second half. Våxtorp's Rudolf Palmkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olov Alkvist in the 53rd minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Olov Alkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brännö IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Olov Alkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rudolf Palmkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Våxtorp getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Eric Bank hit a great ball. Olov Alkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rudolf Palmkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olov Alkvist in the 74th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Torbjörn Lindberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robin Felin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Charles Gallin made a huge save. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brännö IK's goalkeeper Charles Gallin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Robin Felin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robin Felin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Gallin having to interfere. After 96 minutes of play Våxtorp's Eric Bank was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Eric Bank kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. In the 98th minute, Olov Alkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
