After a rather tough play, Ljung's Melker Västlund got a free kick in the 6th minute. If Tom Lindholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melker Västlund kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Ove Smitt took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ludwig Lustig. Ljung's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Göran Erserman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Karl-Michael Lindqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ludwig Lustig didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bengt Björk went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 27 minutes into the match, Ljung's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt Björk came free, but Ludwig Lustig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Börje Paulin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ludwig Lustig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ingmar Josefsson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 43rd minute. Sandhem FK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Melker Västlund kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, Ljung's goal looked a bit too open when Ingmar Josefsson came free, but Ludwig Lustig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ljung's zone, Bengt Björk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ludwig Lustig came out of the goal and Bengt Björk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55thth minute of the game Bengt Björk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ljung's Ludwig Lustig was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Peter Damm came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Ljung fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Damm couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Peter Damm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ljung's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Damm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Michael Lindqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peter Damm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Michael Lindqvist having to interfere. In the 76th minute Peter Damm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Michael Lindqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tom Lindholm's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Karl-Michael Lindqvist firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thor Bruhn kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Ludwig Lustig didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ingmar Josefsson went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Tom Lindholm succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 93rd playminute. The Ljung players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Sandhem FK from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
