Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Urban Sörman started the match with the kick off. Ingvar Söderman was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 2nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Herman Odman. When Sten Håkansson fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nora's protests and gave Sten Håkansson a yellow card for diving instead. Urban Sörman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustav Kruuse read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th minute Jan-Olof Alefors shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustav Kruuse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Virserum getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Per-Oskar Jakobsson hit a great ball. Niclas Galle charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niclas Galle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Niclas Galle kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Nora's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Olof Alefors came free, but Gustav Kruuse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Kurt Valler made a precise shot to the right of Ingvar Söderman. Virserum's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kurt Valler got free with Ingvar Söderman in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jan-Olof Alefors sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kurt Valler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingvar Söderman having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Jan-Olof Aleforss short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Gustav Kruuse to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Nora's Gustav Kruuse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urban Sörman in the 55th minute of play. Jan-Olof Alefors received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Gustav Kruuse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Gösta Hökkvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ingvar Söderman was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When Jan-Olof Alefors came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Virserum fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Olof Alefors couldn't finish the play. Ingvar Söderman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Valler in the 76th minute of play. The supporters of Nora booed when Virserum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Njurenius didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Virserum's Urban Sörman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gustav Kruuse. That made the score 2-1 after 82 minutes of play. In the 89th minute Urban Sörman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustav Kruuse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Urban Sörman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Gustav Kruuse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 96 minutes, Urban Sörman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Virserum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urban Sörman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jan-Olof Alefors sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Nora support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
